We brought this beautiful fridge 10/2021. March3 2023 we found that all the food in the freezer had thawed. The entire unit was not cooling. It is now March 20th and we still havent been able to get the unit fixed/and or approved for repair. A local serviceman came and through diagnosis discovered that the compressor was bad The UPC label in The fridge has a completion date of 10/21. We are beyond dismayed first at the breakdown and secondly the apparent lack of concern for our inconvenience and loss of money from the food stored inside from LG. Would have a difficult time endorsing this product

Very Nice looking but it has issues

Ive had this refrigerator for almost 5 years. In that time I have had to have LG come out twice. First because the wires werent insulated properly and it became so loud you couldnt hear the TV in the next room. 3 years later it got really loud and then it died completely and I lost all the food in the freezer. LG replaced the compressor and the loud wires for a second time. I wish I could say it works as well as it looks.

LG 30 in. W 22 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator

We looked for a smaller sized refrigerator with ice maker and cold water door dispenser for our galley kitchen. We ended up buying this LG and a warranty package at Home Depot. This fridge makes an abundant amount of ice. The bottom freezer draw glides easily to access the deep drawers and large ice bin. Having a door water dispenser is so convenient. The only downside of it is water splashes on the stainless steel but a quick spray of cleaner and microfiber cloth brings back the shiny luster. To be honest Im happy that this model has the water dispenser separate from the ice. Thats because my daughter has an LG where the ice and water are on the outside door but the ice maker only makes and stores a small amount and their family is always running out of ice. Although its only 30 wide its refrigerator section is very deep and holds so much food. Im only 5 feet tall and need to use a step stool to reach the top to replace the water filter or remove items from the rear top shelf. I love the cold cuts drawer that pulls out to display food inside tada I buy lots of veggies and fruit and the two drawers remarkably holds so much produce. A gallon milk jug fits in the inside door bins on both sides. There even is a thin bottom hidden tray where I place sticks of butter or cream cheese packages. I call the tray hidden because you dont see it unless you tell someone its there. Weve had the fridge for 4 years. Unfortunately the compression stopped working. This caused the fridge freezer from cooling and ice machine to stop producing ice. I was grateful I purchased a warranty so I called the Home Depot warranty number and began the process of getting the compressor replaced. Service and supplies cost us nothing using our 5 year warranty. The service man was on time and professional. Unfortunately we were without a working refrigerator for about 10 days. So glad its working again because I am so pleased with this refrigerator. It really meets our familys needs.

I was happy with my. Fridge until it just quit working in short of two years. I had no warrent but they LG DID GET. IT REPAIRED AND is working fine now. I was not happy with customer service which I felt have me the runaround with empty promises. It took three weeks before they finally sent repair person.

I bought this LG French Door Refrigerator about a month ago and me and my husband are happy with our purchase. The only issue is the upper drawer in the freezer does not slide in easily and smoothly and needs an extra push to close.

Purchase of LG refrigerator

First we looked at the LG brand based on the experience of several family members who already owned this make. So far we are not disappointed. We like the exterior water dispenser and the automatic ice maker. The two fruit and vegetable drawers are bigger than our prior refrigerator and the cheese space is larger. The refrigerator is quiet. The shelves are adjustable and deep.

Had to replace my old side by side and even tho this LG is smaller in width it gives my so much more space in freezer especially. Only slight downside is not as much room for tall items.

Pretty design

I bought this in April 2022. The water comes out slow and not cold enough. Our ice maker doesnt work and Lg has not been easy to get costumer service. Still waiting on someone to fix it if LG gets their act together. They have all information but always wants it again. Its definitely a run around.

Initial issue but has been fixed

I bought this refrigerator a month ago. I noticed a buzzing noise that grew louder within the first week. After a few weeks the noise was fairly constant and seemed way louder than it should for a new fridge. I called LG and the repair man came out. It was a metal wire rubbing on the compressor. He moved things around and the noise stopped. Weve been happy with everything else.

Right before Christmas my refrigerator started freezing everything. I turned down the temperature but didnt stop. I had to replace quickly and decided to upgrade to a French door but my space is limited. This LG fit and was in stock. While it wasnt my first choice do to shelf height I am very happy with the purchase

Cools and freezes great

As the title says it does the job. The water dispenser dispenses cool water but just for a short period then cool as tap. Our fridges pump lasted about a year before we had to get it serviced. Otherwise holds up okay.

This refrigerator is a mid-tier unit that features the ice dispenser in the freezer compartment rather then dispensing it through the door as is more common. We selected this unit because height was of critical importance. It has a nice capacity for its dimensions. We have only had the unit a few weeks so it might be hasty to make any final judgements about it. We are very happy with our overall impressions and the day-to-day use of this unit. I hope we can enjoy it for many years to come.

Just the right size for our space

I like most of the features of this french door frig. I would have given it 5 stars but there is no way to turn it off at the controls on the front. We needed to move it to hook up the water line. The only way we could turn it off was to unplug it. This model was just the right size to fit in the space between a wall and the cabinets.

A few weeks ago My old refrigerator died it was over 20 years old. I had certain measurements to go by and I wanted an LG. After looking at y choices I chose a French door. I really like it. It is a little smaller than my old one but large enough for one person to put everything needed in it.
